PrestaShop is very simple in use e-commerce solution. It has user- friendly interface. PrestaShop has a good number of features. Having a very powerful back-end, store admins allows to manage the inventory, orders, customers & payments easily. The system offers you unlimited categories, sub-categories & image pictures. You can add sub-admin users with different access rights. It means that one admin can track the inventory only and another one can process the orders. But also, I’ve downloaded Store Manager for PrestaShop (prestashopmanager.com). It has a great option – bulk updates. This is very good for stores with a large anmount of products.

Hi, the prestashop is quite attractive with the apperance and the functionality. Here, I’d recommend you another free open source shopping cart——TomatoCart. As far as I am concerned, it is comparable to prestashop due to the destop-style admin panel and fully comprehensive features. You will find it a useful tool after you check it out!

Prestashop has been growing and improving extremely fast, both in number of users / forum members, and in development / features added.

I am an English Moderator on the Prestashop forum, and I see many people that are far less tech savvy than me that manage to install and customize their own shops, and install themes, modules and modification with little or no help.

The Prestashop forum has been growing rapidly as well, it reached nearly 50,000 members, and is by far the best place to get help or questions answered, usually within a short period of time.
Make sure you search the forum first, because many quaestions have already been answered…

I have many useful modules for Prestashop on my store (http://www.presto-changeo.com/), like a filter module, a translation module (which I used to translate my site to 15 other languages), and an attribute wizard module that lets you customized your attributes similar to apple’s website.

I am in the process of setting a new e-commerce operation. I have tried a number of carts in the past and have found them lacking.

Prestashop has been the easiest I have come across, still needs some work but gets my vote.

Hi,i’m using this great tool and never i say never i have problem with it.When i ask on french forum there’s always cool guys to give answers.
Don’t forget if you have trouble with prestashop there’s always people ready to help.
